OUR PROJECTS
Project 1
Cluster of Stars observed that helps in piecemeal seldom facilitate the talent of underprivileged children to bloom to their fullest. Reason behind draining out of all helps is those families are always in dire needs. These talented children, therefore, in spite of getting some helps from the governments/ organisations drop out of studies and start earning for their needy families at very early stage. And, as a result they make further addition to the number of underprivileged/deprived families.
Keeping the above scenario in mind, Cluster of Stars decided to offer consecutive scholarship of free education to five underprivileged students of class VII (belonging to BPL category or whose annual family income does not exceed Rs. 60,000/-) for the year 2018-19 with free decent lodging, fooding & clothing etc. These students shall continue to receive the said scholarship from class VII to any higher level of education i.e. Medical, Engineering, MBA, CA, etc. (to the extent of their optimum potentiality).
On the basis of marks obtained in entrance test held on 25.3.2018 at Guwahati & Golaghat, five students were awarded scholarships. They started staying in the hostel of the trust from 16.4.2018. They have been admitted in class VII in Pragjyotish Senior Secondary School, West Boragaon, Guwahati – 781033, India. For the year 2019-20, Seven more students were given admission to class 7. The students were inducted after the examination held in several district of Assam. A new hostel was set up with facility like 24×7 power and water Backup, RO water, Computers, library and separate almirah and cupboard.
Two way benefit of the project :
12 students got scholarship to excel in their lives to their fullest potentiality, free of cost. And, the families of these 12 students have also indirectly been financially benefited and obviously are now marginally in a better financial conditions since no expenses are required to be made for their sons (i.e. the students now staying in hostel of the trust).
Future prospect of project :
To continue with the same project with increased number of scholarships belonging to all genders.
Project 2
Cluster of Stars desires to see all the underprivileged children to bloom to their fullest. To achieve this objective the trust need to cater more and more service to the underprivileged. The hostel made by the trust under Project 1 is in the rented accommodation and can accommodate only five students. Further, the school where five students have been admitted under project 1, is not under the control of the trust. Therefore, at present, the Cluster of Stars is not being able to impart the desired “true education” to its fullest to those students.
Cluster of Stars, therefore, desires to construct a school where the underprivileged students would get imparted “true education”, have holistic opportunities to bloom to their fullest and excel to their optimum potentiality – be it in education or sports or music or any field, with utmost care in making them- healthy, disciplined, well-mannered human beings whose motto of lives shall be to help all in need. It shall be the pinnacle centre for holistic development where the students shall excel in their chosen filed to their optimum potentiality.
Cluster of Stars, accordingly, desires to have it’s own school and hostel having capacity of around 1500 students at first phase; with all modern amenities, sport facilities, library, and medical facilities but inculcating with morality, humanity and love.
Project 3
One Education centres, having the same ethos, in each district in North Eastern Part of India having classes from primary section to class X which shall be open to all underprivileged children not being covered under project 1 & 2.
